I am very proud of my granddaughter Jessica. She was elected house captain for 2014 and received the PBL award in her class. Only one person receives this per class. Keep up the good work.

Christmas tree peg

This chipboard heart is covered in Christmas wrap with punched hearts and a hand made flower. The back has a peg so it can be attached to the Christmas tree and a card can be put on the tree and it will not blow away. I made these with the senior Girl Guides a few weeks ago.

Paper Christmas Tree

This tree was made the same way as the previous tree decoration. The exception is the strips are rolled horizontally not in a circle. The Kaisercraft rub on works well with the decorations.

Christmas Decoration

This decoration is easy. I covered a chipboard circle with Basic Grey patterned paper. Cut strips of paper and rolled them and let them unravel a little. Then glued the rolled circles to form a tree shape. I inked a chipboard star for the tree and used Kaisercraft rub ons for the Merry Christmas . I punched a hole in the top and tied a ribbon on the top.

Santas

Santa in Australia. I think he will be hot here as we have a hot summer and Christmas .
This shows some of my Santas.

I painted the welcome Santa.

A close up of my welcome Santa I painted in 1998 circa. I always think of my mother when I look at it as she was in hospital suffering a mini stroke and my way of dealing with this was to paint this Santa. She survived the stroke but died in 2002 from cancer.

Christmas tree

My first Christmas in my new home and this is my Christmas tree up and waiting for presents. I have lots of hand made decorations on it.

Christmas Bow

This Christmas bow is made from Kaisercraft paper with a gem in the middle. I have backed it with chipboard to make it sturdy to hang on the tree or sit on the table without blowing away.

Christmas trees

These 2 Christmas trees were made from cardstock and patterned paper. I used the sizzix machine to cut the stars and I have punched shapes and used Kaisercraft bling. The stars are held in place using a long wooden skewer poked down the centre. A double star hides the wood. Kindly Glitz adds sparkle to the trees.

Advent Calendar

This advent calendar was so much fun to make. I made each of the matchboxes using cardstock for the base and patterned paper for the covers. I punched circles in cardstock and then punched smaller circles that had the dates stamped on them. I adhered magnets to the back of the boxes and attached them to a biscuit tray.

Christmas Tree

This bottle cap Christmas tree was made using chipboard for the tree base and then covered with patterned paper . The star is made from chipboard covered with patterned paper. The bottle caps were flattened and then punched circles from patterned paper were glued inside and bling added to them. The caps were then glued with Gel Medium to the tree and some were adhered to the tree using double strength foam to give it some dimension.

Bo Bunny papers went well with the photos I took of the grandchildren at Winter Wonderland at the Hunter Valley Gardens. Teamed with bling and chipboard it all went together to match.

Handmade Paper Flowers

These flowers have been made from a circle cut in a circular fashion and glued together. Because they sat up too high I flattened them with my thumb. I used a large Kaisercraft pearl brad in the centres. The leaves and stems have been drawn, inked and cut freehand.

All the products are from Kaisercraft. These flowers are fun to make. i will do a tutorial soon.
