Portraits of Me

These 2 photos were taken on the 9th December 2012 at my retirement party. One of my ex-students Alex took them with my camera. They are my favourite portrait photos I have of me in a long time.

Card Holder

Products needed: 14 wooden pegs painted, 14 chipboard circles, 14 bling gems, 1.4m ribbon, 1 ring for the top and a brad to secure the ribbon on the ring, 2 different patterned paper to cover one face of the peg and the chipboard circles, letters to spell Merry Christmas.

Close up

With cards attached. The wind has been blowing through the window and the card holder has been swinging but none have fallen off. Yippee.
I am renting at the moment so I am limited where I can hang this card holder. The ideal place is on the wall and the cards hang flat against it. I can feel a Happy Birthday Card Holder coming on.

Christmas Card Holder

I used the Cuttlebug to emboss this chipboard card holder  that is attached to a wooden peg.

Christmas card Holder

Christmas peg for the tree to hold cards onto the branches.

I painted the wooden peg and then added patterned paper on one side of the peg. I then punched the red scalloped shape and added it to the peg. I used the Sizzix holly die to cut the holly shape out. The bling from Kaisercraft was adhered over the holly and 3 punched circles were inked and then adhered.
I was sick of the cards falling from the tree when a breeze went through. These pegs hold the cards nicely to the tree and also act as a Christmas decoration.

Christmas Bauble

The same shape as before but this time after Cuttlebugging it I inked the raised image and teamed it with a Kaisercraft bling and a Cropworks bow.
