Sizzix Christmas

This Christmas decoration was made using a Spellbinders Die and then embossed with my new Christmas Sizzix embossing folder called Holiday Elegance. I inked it with Evergreen Versa Color and then put Kaisercraft bling in strategic spots. The 2 ribbons are from Cropworks.

Cuttlebug Christmas Decorations

I cut out the bauble shape in chipboard and glued gold wrapping paper on either side. When the glue has dried I ran it through the Cuttlebug with an embossing folder. Then sanded it to show some white. I put a hole at the top and threaded gold elastic through it and knotted it to hang on my tree. I then adhered a gold ribbon bow to the top.

Close Up of the bauble.

I made this bauble the same way as the previous one. I used a different embossing folder and bow. I used Kaisercraft gems to add that sense of bling to the bauble.

From my Window

This is the view I get from my lounge room window. Not only do I see Australian native plants like  Grevilleas  but the native birds like the Rosellas sing and eat the nectar in it. Sounds and looks great.

Check out the Rosellas there are 2 of them chirping away and feasting on the nectar.

Kaisercraft Cards

2 simple cards using an old patterned paper from Kaisercraft.

I used the Cuttlebug and a folder to do the sentiment. Everything else is Kaisercraft. Notice one of my new Santa mugs.

Weaving with the Cuttlebug

Cuttlebug cardstock and cut into strips.

Adhere the bugged strips at the top of a sheet of cardstock to secure. Then cut strips of different cardstock of various colours and sizes and weave under and over the bugged strips. Make sure you weave unevenly so you can see the bugged strips underneath.

The finished weave  which is adhered underneath the strips on all the ends. This is the size of a card front of chosen dimensions.

The finished card. The sentiment has been bugged with the Cuttlebug and embossing folder and the sentiment has been cut out. The tree was also bugged one way and then the other to give a crossed over appearance. I cut the tree by using a triangle and a rectangle. The star was punched. Then everything was inked using a Versa Color Ink Pad.

Native Grasses

After the rain.

Before the rain.
These native grasses are in our rental property and they looked amazing after the rain with the drops of water hanging off them.
