Card and Envelope Duo

Another card and envelope duo I managed to get done before I moved. The ribbon has been freehand pleated onto sticky tape and the Cuttlebugged patterned paper has been sanded.

Missing in Action

I have permanently moved into my new home in the Hunter Valley. I love it and am slowly getting unpacked. This is why i have been quiet for a while as I have been absolutely exhausted with the move. Hopefully within the next few weeks I will be able to start creating again.
This has been the view the past few mornings. The photos are from my front yard looking across towards the hills and wetland.

Easter Egg Basket

This basket is done using double sided patterned paper. The handle is cut separately but the base of the basket is cut in one piece. The scallop sides can also be formed into a triangle if you don't want too fancy.

The shredded paper can be done with your shredder and any paper you don't like anymore can be shredded and used for padding.
Here is the site where I got the template for the basket.Thank you to the person who designed this.

Sydney

It was Melanie's 41st Birthday last week and we had lunch overlooking the harbour. The restaurant was called The Deck. It was a beautiful summers day. This was taken at Milson's Point.

Card and Envelope Set

Here is another SALT and Basic Grey set teamed up with Maya Road velvet flowers and a wooden Kaisercraft stamp sentiment.

Warner's Bay

This is the place where  I grew up. It is also the resting place of my parent's ashes. I went there last week and had a cold drink by the lake and thought of my parents and all the good times I had there. The lake is where my father taught me to swim.We used to swim off the jetty but I don't think much swimming is done there now. Some days you could hardly move in there because so many people were swimming in there.

Envelope and Card duo

Here is another of the card and envelope matching pair. This time I used SALT cardstock and Kaisercraft sentiment stamp. The patterned paper is Basic Grey and I made the whole envelope out of patterned paper. A good way to use up old papers you don't want anymore. The flowers are made from freehand drawn and cut circles that have been turned up around the edges and layered.

Envelope and Card set

Her eis another duo I made using SALT cardstock , Basic Grey paper and Kaisercraft wooden stamp, Pinecone Versa Color ink, I used a Martha Stewart punch to do the flower border.
The lines on the card were done on the reverse side of the paper using my Scor Pal and then sanding the raised up lines  to expose the white under the colour.

Nobbys Beach

A close up of Nobbys from the boardwalk. It was a windy day when I was walking along there.
